Best Keto Bars

There is no denying that keto is a fantastic diet and comes with a lot of different benefits to help keep us healthy and fit. But the options of what we can snack on and eat in between meals can feel limited at times.

Cooking is fun and all, but if you’re in a rush or just simply not in the mood to make your own snacks, it can sometimes feel like options are limited. So, for those days when you just want to grab and go, here are what I think are the best keto bars.

Top 9 Best Keto Bars

As someone working a full-time job with three kids at home to take care of, I don’t always have the time to throw a snack together when I find myself hungry. Sometimes, a grab and go snacking option is necessary when you’re always on the move.

There are a few things that I kept in mind when deciding to create this list and make it as unbiased as possible. Of course, I enjoy everything that is on this list, but there are other factors that I kept in mind as well.

The factors that I used when making this list include:

  • Net carbs per serving (obviously)
  • High-fat count
  • High in protein
  • Flavor
  • Customer reviews
  • Ingredients

I wanted to try to find bars that weren’t just keto-friendly, but snacks that would be appealing to eat and taste good. After all, what good is a snack if you don’t like to eat it?

Another thing that I tried to keep in mind is that everyone has different tastes, so I picked keto bars that come in a variety of flavors. Even chocolate gets old if it’s all you eat due to the lack of snack bar variety.

I know how it can be difficult to find a snack bar that is keto-friendly and also tastes good, so I’ve made sure I found ones that you would never guess they were good for keto. So, without further ado, here are my choices of the 9 best keto bars available on today’s market.

Keto Bars

Keto Bars The Original Keto Snack Bar, Gourmet Simple Ingredients Low Carb, No Sugar, Rich in Ketogenic Fats, The Perfect KetoBars Snacks for Keto Diet Food Products (10 Pack, 1.65 ounce)

Net Carbs: 3g

First up on the list is Keto Bars, which, as the name clearly suggests, are snack bars made specifically for the keto diet. These bars are sugar-free and only have 3g of net carbs per bar.

Not only that, but they have up to 21g of fat in a bar depending on which flavor you get, which high fat is just as important as low carbs when it comes to the keto diet. Ingredient wise, they are one of the best keto-choice bars on the market.

Keto Bars come in four different delicious flavors, and I suggest you try them all before deciding if they are for you or not.

These flavors include:

  • Chocolate peanut butter
  • Chocolate-covered strawberry
  • Mint chocolate
  • Dark chocolate coconut almond

Something to keep in mind with Keto Bars and any other on this list, honestly, is that just because one flavor doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean another doesn’t! I am not a fan of the mint chocolate, but I find the chocolate-covered strawberry to be delightful.

The only thing that I’m not too big a fan of when it comes to Keto Bars is, they are expensive considering their small size. But for a fast, on-the-go snack, I give them an A.

DNX Bars

Net Carbs: 2g

For those who aren’t wanting a sweet snack, DNX Bars are a delicious and fast meat snack bar that is certain to appease your rumbling tummy. And because they are a meat snack, they are low in carbs and high in protein.

Not unlike jerky, DNX Bars don’t need to be refrigerated, so feel free to take one with you to work to snack on when you get a chance, all without the worry of someone stealing it out of the company fridge. Your taste buds will be praising you for choosing this yummy snack.

DNX Bars come in three different types of meat and six different flavors for plenty of variety. These meats and flavors are:

  • Chicken Peri Peri
  • Chicken & Raspberry Bacon
  • Beef & Uncured Bacon Jalapeno
  • Beef Sweet Potato Pecan
  • Beef Uncured Bacon Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper
  • Bison Jamaican Style

The meat that is used to make DNX Bars come from grass-fed animals and are whole30 approved. It means they contain no added hormones, no antibiotics, no nitrates, no added sugar, no MSG, and are lacking a few other things that would ruin the quality of this product.

There’s absolutely nothing sweet about these bars, and this is my go-to when I’m just not feeling the sweets. The bars are decently sized and are pretty filling as a snack bar should be.

Atlas Bar

Atlas Bar - Keto Protein Bars, Classics Variety - High Protein, Low Sugar, Low Carb, Grass Fed Whey, Healthy Protein, Gluten Free, Soy Free (9-Pack)

Net Carbs: 5g

If you like whey bars but have a hard time finding ones that are keto-friendly and delicious, then let me introduce you to Atlas Bars. These whey keto bars are high in protein and low in carbs, making them a perfect snack for keto dieters.

Atlas Bars are a perfect option for a pre-workout snack or if you find yourself doing a lot of activity. With their high protein levels, they’ll help you towards that weight goal that you have your sights on.

What is really great about Atlas Bars is that they come in six different flavors to help everyone find the flavor that they love.

These flavors include:

  • Almond Chocolate Chip
  • Chocolate Cacao
  • Mint Chocolate Chip
  • Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
  • Peanut Butter Raspberry
  • Vanilla Almond Chai

Chocolate is such a popular flavor, and most snack bars only offer flavors that all seem to involve chocolate. With the peanut butter raspberry and vanilla almond chai options, you can have a break from chocolate if you’re sick of it and just aren’t a fan.

Keep in mind before you decide to give one of these bars a chance only because of the flavors that they are made with whey. Not everyone is a fan of whey because it has a different flavor and texture to it that a lot of people do not like.

The bars are still delicious, and I think they are an excellent option for those that like whey products.

Perfect Keto Bars

Perfect Keto Bars - The Cleanest Keto Snacks with Collagen and MCT. No Added Sugar, Keto Diet Friendly - 3g Net Carbs, 19g Fat, 10g protein - Keto Diet Food Dessert (Almond Butter Brownie, 12 Bars)

Net Carbs: 3g

Speaking of bars that come in lots of different flavors, Perfect Keto Bars come in 8 amazing different flavors. I feel that they have the perfect variety that all the other brands lack, and just about everyone can find a flavor that they like.

In my opinion, each of these flavors is all great, and it feels like they have a flavor that will satisfy each of my cravings when they strike.

These 8 flavors are:

  • Almond Butter Brownie
  • Birthday Cake
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Cinnamon Roll
  • Lemon Poppyseed
  • Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
  • Pumpkin Spice
  • Salted Caramel

Perfect Keto Bars aren’t just about their flavor variety, however. They are low-carb, high-fat, and high-protein to suit every keto dieter in the best possible way.

The only downside that I think comes with Perfect Keto is that the flavor isn’t as tasty as some others on the list. It’s understandable for these items when there’s no additional flavorings or sugar used to make them, so I don’t hold it against them.

They are still good enough for me to keep coming back to them. After all, with choices like Lemon Poppyseed that are unheard of with most other keto-friendly bars, it’s hard to pass them up.

Dang Bars

Dang Keto Bar | Toasted Coconut | 12 Pack | Keto Certified, Vegan, Low Carb, Low Sugar, Plant Based, Non GMO, Gluten Free Snacks | 5g Net Carbs, 9g Protein, No Added Sugars

Net Carbs: 5g

Speaking of keto bars that come in flavors such as lemon, next on the list are the keto-friendly Dang Bars. These bars are my favorite go-to when I’m in the mood for granola bars or am in a rush in the morning and don’t have time to make breakfast.

Made with a combination of almonds, sunflower seeds, and chia seeds, Dang Bars are one of the closest things we’re going to get to a granola bar.

And they have six flavors to choose from, including:

  • Lemon Matcha
  • Toasted Coconut
  • Crazy Rich Chocolate
  • Peanut Butter
  • Mint Chocolate
  • Almond Cookie

Much like the Perfect Keto Bars, Dang Bars offer a variety of flavors that are each guaranteed to appease that snacking need. I like to grab one of these when I’m getting home from my morning walk, and they are surprisingly filling for how small they are.

Which, I have to admit, is probably the one thing that I dislike the most about Dang Bars. As good as I think that they are and the choices there are in flavors, Dang Bars are one of the more expensive items on this list.

Keto snacking can be expensive to start with, so if you’re doing keto on a budget, it makes finding a good, affordable snack hard. Unfortunately, you’re not going to find your affordable snack with Dang Bars.

Bhu Keto Bars

BHU Keto Bars, Double Dark Chocolate Cookie Dough, Low-carb, Vegan, snacks with healthy Fats, no Sweeteners, no Cane Sugar, Gluten-free (8 pack)

Net Carbs: 3g

Next on my list are Bhu Keto bars for a snack rich in flavor that you’ll want to eat again and again. These bars are described as “premium refrigerated keto protein bars” and require refrigeration until you are ready to snack on.

This simply means that it’s not a good idea for you to take this bar for a quick snack when you’re out and about. But when you’re sitting at home and the urge hits, but you don’t feel like making a snack, the Bhu Keto Bars are ready and waiting for you in your fridge.

Bhu Keto bars only come in five different flavors, but the flavor of these bars is rich.

The five flavors that these bars come in are:

  • Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Double Dark Chocolate Cookie Dough
  • White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie Dough
  • Chocolate Coconut Cookie Dough
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

If it’s not obvious by the different flavors, Bhu Keto Bars are keto-friendly cookie dough in a protein bar form. This is why they need to be kept refrigerated, but it is also why they are each devilishly delicious.

Once again, with the Bhu Keto Bars, however, is that they are on the more expensive side. I buy Bhu Keto Bars when I am looking for a snack I can indulge in, so I don’t get them very often.

But when I do get them, I definitely don’t regret it. These keto bars are really fantastic.

Slimfast Keto Bars

SlimFast Keto Meal Replacement Bar - Whipped Peanut Butter Chocolate - 5 Count Box - Pantry Friendly

Net Carbs: 3g

The next keto bar on my list is the Slimfast Keto Bars that happen to be one of my favorites for a number of different reasons. First off, they are actually affordable and won’t break the bank like some others on the list.

Not only are they good for the budget keto dieter, but they are also really good. I think that taste-wise, Slimfast is one of the best on this list.

The Slimfast Keto Bars come in 6 different delectable flavors that I promise will tantalize your tastebuds.

These 6 flavors are:

  • Whipped Peanut Butter Chocolate
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Frosted Cinnamon Bun
  • Nutty Caramel & Nougat
  • Salted Caramel Macadamia Nut
  • Whipped Triple Chocolate

These bars are meant to be a meal replacement, so they’re not just good for snacking. If you find a place where you are either trying to eat less or simply don’t have the time to actually have a meal, then a Slimfast Keto Bar is enough to get you by.

These little bars are filling, low in carbs, and high in fat. They also use a combination of whey protein and collagen to provide important nutrients to your body, important for ketosis.

But because these bars are made with a use of whey, they can have that strange, grainy texture that comes with the ingredient. If you can get past the strange texture and focus mainly on the flavor, then Slimfast Keto Bars are right for you.

Atkins Protein Bars

Atkins Protein Meal Bar, Chocolate Chip Granola, Keto Friendly, 8 Count

Net Carbs: 3g

Most people know that the Atkins diet isn’t much different from the keto diet, except that you increase carb intake gradually with the Atkins diet. Regardless, there is still a point in time with Atkins where your carb intake is minimal.

Atkins Protein Bars are a snack that I have bought numerous times during my keto journey, and they are positively delicious. And the reason that I decided to try them was because of their affordability.

These bars come in an amazing 8 different flavors, and I’ve tried them all without being disappointed.

These 8 flavors are:

  • Chocolate Chip Granola
  • Strawberry Almond
  • Blueberry Greek Yogurt
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel
  • Cookies n’ Cream
  • Peanut Butter Granola
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter

When after a sweet snack that doesn’t have a strange texture and tastes exactly as the name describes, I always recommend the Atkins bars. You can’t really go wrong with these snack bars, either in taste or price.

The Atkins bars aren’t as high in fat as the others on this list, but with 9g, it’s not exactly low either. They are high in protein, so in a way that works to make up for the lack in a high fat count that keto typically loves.

Keto Krisp Bars

Keto Krisp Keto Bars - Low-Carb, Low-Sugar - (12 Pack, Almond Butter) - Gluten-Free Crispy, Perfectly Delicious, Ketogenic Healthy Diet Snacks and Food

Net Carbs: 4g

Last on the list is a lesser-known keto bar known as Keto Krisp Bars. This is another decent alternative to granola bars and is a great grab-and-go meal when rushing out the door in the morning.

Keto Krisp Bars come in 4 yummy flavors that go great with the crispy texture of the keto bar, and they each taste so good that you won’t even realize they are keto.

The 4 flavors include:

  • Almond Butter
  • Chocolate Mint
  • Chocolate Raspberry
  • Almond Butter Chocolate Chip

My personal favorite is the chocolate raspberry, especially since it’s such a hard flavor to find in keto-friendly snack bars. Not only that, but it’s hard to replicate in a way that tastes any kind of good, but in Keto Krisp Bars, it’s delectable.

These are a lesser-known brand because they have only been around for a couple of years. Those who have tried these snacks have come back with positive and raving reviews from many of their customers.

The biggest two problems that come along with this bar is the fact they are so expensive, and because they are made like a granola bar, they fall apart kind of easily. But with that being the worst thing people can say about it, it makes Keto Krisp worthy to be the last on my list.

I hope that with this small list of mine that I’ve been able to help you figure out a good keto bar to put into your cupboard for the next time you’re after a new snack. Keto can be a tough diet to keep up with sometimes, especially when those sweet cravings hit.

Don’t let it drag you down, and don’t give up! You’re doing great, and with options like all of these keto snack bars, there’s no reason to throw in the towel just yet.

You can snack all you want with keto, as long as you keep within the carb limit every day. Watch your intake and enjoy your snack!
